Swansea City’s Lionel Messi: Wilfried Bony and the Vencer Sarthe Dutch supercar

Wilfried Bony scored 37 goals in 36 appearances for Vitesse last season. And now he is coming to Wales ready to take the English Premier League by storm, hoping to help Michu make Swansea City a force to be reckoned with in Europe.
Similar to Luis Suarez – who also came straight from the Netherlands to the Premier League – it is expected Ivory Coast international ace Bony will be a regular scorer, having recently picked up the most prestigious accolade in Dutch football: Dutch Footballer of the Year.
Having signed a four year contract for £12,230,000, it is safe to say that Wilfried Bony is here to stay. And having played in Holland for the last three seasons, he’ll surely be missing some of the wonders the country has created.

.
One incredible creation will be arriving in the UK this September at Salon Privé, a supercar said to be like no other, a machine fit for a striker: The Vencer Sarthe.
The Sarthe is a low volume exclusively handmade mid-engine sports car which utilises a hybrid space frame chassis, made of high grade tubular steel, with chrome-molybdenum safety structure and rear sub-frame with the floor made up of an aluminium honeycomb structure.
This combination of materials and techniques results in a lightweight, super strong and rigid chassis.

The eight-cylinder engine is placed behind the driver, in a mid-engine configuration. The engine is directly bolted onto the six-speed MT gearbox. Due to this configuration the car has a very balanced weight distribution of 45 per cent at the front and 55 per cent at the rear.
The Vencer ‘double wishbone’ ensures a pure and direct vehicle control without additional electronic interference. Only ABS and EBD are present to properly support the driver in difficult and unsafe situations.

So will Wilfried Bony, who has so far scored four goals in five games for his country this year, be heading to Salon Privé this September to check out the Sarthe? Perhaps it could be a gift to himself for becoming a player in the world’s most competitive football league? Some will certainly speculate.
