The days of the individual representing a driver’s commercial and personal interests in Formula 1 are over. At least, this is the view of the trio of industry specialists who have formed a new management company with the focus of securing determined young British racer Alex Lynn a drive in Formula 1. Integrale believes the all-new style of management team will ensure specialists take responsibility for key areas of Lynn’s career. It was formed by Myles Mordaunt, Francis Jago and Former F1 ace Alex Wurz, whose teammates included Jean Alesi, Gerhard Berger, Giancarlo Fisichella, 2007 Formula 1 World Champion Kimi Raikkonen, speedster Juan Pablo Montoya, Nico Rosberg and Mark Webber. Alex Wurz drove for Benetton, McLaren and Williams during a career that saw him win the 24 Hours of Le Mans twice – once in 1996 before his Formula 1 debut and again in 2009, two years after he left the leading single-seater race category.“I have worked with Alex [Lynn] in the FIA Institute young driver academy, but when I saw him setting pole position for the F3 Macau GP I realised that he really is a genuine talent,” Wurz said. “I look forward to working with him and helping to get him to Formula 1.”

After a record-breaking 2011 season winning the Formula Renault Championship, he has already achieved three podiums out of a possible six in Formula 3 – a stepping stone for the likes of Ayrton Senna, Mika Hakkinen, Lewis Hamilton and many other future World Champions. He also impressed the motorsport community, and capped his season off with a pole position and a podium on the streets of Macau, scene of success for Michael Schumacher in the past.

“One consistent observation during my 23 years in and around international motorsport is that the best drivers don’t always succeed – in many instances for commercial reasons,” added Myles Mordaunt. “I have always believed in the underlying philosophy of Integrale Management, that skilled people should focus on the niche areas that make up driver management, allowing the driver himself to simply concentrate on driving.”

In 2013, Lynn has progressed to the FIA Formula 3 European Championship, racing on many circuits that make up the Formula 1TM World Championship where his sights are firmly set.Racing at the historic circuit of Monza, Italy, Lynn scored a podium finish in his maiden event and subsequently backed this up with further podiums at Silverstone during round two ensuring he currently lies fourth in the driver standings.

The FIA F3 Euroseries now heads to Hockenheim, Germany this coming weekend for round 3. “I have been working hard in the simulator,” explained an enthusiastic Lynn, “and also had some great success at Hockenheim at the end of last year. Making the F3 podium and beating the current Euroseries Champion is great for my confidence. Therefore I am going into this weekend extremely focused on getting some great results and a big haul of points, crucial at every round for both the driver and team championships.”
