Arguably one of the England national football team’s most successful and reliable players, Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard is no stranger to driving around in flash cars.
Scoring goal after goal, the 33-year-old could net a bargain if he seeks to add a new supercar to his garage.
When it makes its debut in the UK in September at Salon Privé, wealthy footballers from across the Premier League will be flocking to see the Icona Vulcano, which will cost a mere €3m (£2.55m).
That is 21 times more expensive than the £120,000 Range Rover he recently sold and 28 times more expensive than his Jaguar XKR Convertible.
This will suit the footballer who wishes to prove they have the most lavish car on the road, more exotic than any modern Ferrari or Lamborghini.
This is a seroius toy for the motoring-mad footballer.
Having scored ten goals for Liverpool Football Club last season, Steven Gerrard may have passed his peak but he is extremely fit for a man in his 30s.
Will Steven Gerrard treat himself to a very expensive but gorgeously hot Christmas present to celebrate his 16th year as a Premier League football player for Liverpool? With 159 goals scored for the team since 1998, Gerrard is guaranteed to make it 160 in the coming season.
The Icona Vulcano will be the perfect way to drive away from Anfield feeling like a footballer at his peak. But with his weekly wages now exceeding £130,000, can England’s Player of the Year afford to splash out on perhaps the most highly anticipated luxury hybrid supercar ever to be made?
